Our Guest RoomsAs you ascend our marvelous walnut staircase, you enter the upstairs foyer, which provides a tastefully decorated and inviting sitting area. From here four individually and beautifully styled bedrooms await you. Wake to the smell of freshly brewed coffee, served just outside your door in the sitting area each morning. Then enjoy a full gourmet breakfast, complimentary for all of our guests, at the time of your choosing. On Sunday mornings Inn guests can opt to participate in Sunday Brunch for $9.95 per person. During warmer seasons you can choose to breakfast on our wrap around porch, dining to the sound of songbirds and sights of hummingbirds, squirrels and deer. On Monday and Tuesday evenings when the restaurant is closed, we will happily prepare dinner for our Inn guests.Rates and Policies |

The Bourne Room J. Simmerman Bourne, a local attorney, purchased this house in the 1930's. From this room you can observe the historic district of Independence, or soak in the last rays of the sun as it sinks into the western ridges of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Authentically decorated in a rose, burgandy and blue color scheme, the Bourne room offers a private bathroom with a walk in shower, queen-sized bed, and a fireplace with a hand detailed mantle. Whether searching for romance or tranquility, you will find both here.

The Grayson Room In 1975, the county of Grayson purchased this home and for many years it served as offices for local businesses. Warm and bright, the period fashion of this bedroom transports you to a bygone era. The Grayson Room is decorated with a paprika and gold color scheme and features twin beds and a spacious private bathroom with bathtub and shower. The view from the large windows overlooks one of our charming wildflower gardens and the surrounding woods beyond. Accommodations can be made for a king-sized bed.

The Reeves Room In 1997 the Copenhavers purchased the house, and a dream was brought to fruition as they restored the home to its original grandeur. The Reeves Room, named for the Copenhavers, is beautifully decorated in lilac and gold and offers an antique Eastlake walnut bed. The private bathroom features a period claw-foot bathtub and a freestanding shower. The view from the room includes giant oak and walnut trees and our herb and edible flower garden. If you are looking for a quiet personal retreat and love luxuriating baths, your search will end most agreeably in the Reeves room.

Rates and PoliciesOur room rates are $95.00 - $145.00* per night plus tax, double occupancy.Rate includes gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea. Business Travelers, please ask for our corporate rate Monday - Thusday, single occupancy. Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or after. Check-out time is 11:00 am. We have a 7 day cancellation policy less $10.00. $20.00 fee for keys lost or not returned. We are a smoke free establishment with designated smoking areas. We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.
